| where to buy dell laptops? | | hi,I am planning to buy a dell laptop...and i am confused of where to buy....that is to go for online or to buy it in retail shops.my friends say that to is cheaper to buy in retail shops than the online rates...because they will not impose much tax like on the online.....because the retailers will buy in bulk orders and that they will save tax and shipping rates and this can make them to sell in low rates ...please make some good comments on this because i am in a hurry and confused state....... | |

| | What do you think of Dell Laptops? | | Well, It seems so Dell empire is expanding at a large rate and is earning a great revenue. Its just going up and up and up. They provide you with support services. Their laptop don't give you any problems. Their warranty just get void like that. You don't have to rely on their warranty cause in most cases problem never occurs except if it slips from your hand and unfortunately their's exits granite floor just below. I have heard reviews about Dell and all say 'great'.
What you think about Dell company Laptops?

| dell laptops | | i purchased a dell laptop last year during back to school season and i really hate this stupid thing sometimes! i had a dell desktop that came to an unfortunate end after three years of dutiful service. so i decided to give dell another chance when i decided to upgrade. i tell you one thing, my next computer will be an hp!i got stuck with this ridiculous vista software which should have never been released to the public. half of the time, my computer is frozen and doesn't work. the other half of the time is spent running virus and adware scans just to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it. i wish that i could go back to xp. my printer is like new because i very rarely used it. now i can't use it because it's not compatible. and all the software downloads and upgrades in the world from dell and microsoft won't get it to work. and please don't get me started on customer service!! what a bunch of hacks!the only thing that i really like about this thing is that it takes up way less space and i have tons of storage that came standard on here. but man, do i have buyer's remorse. | |

| Experiences with Dell Laptops | | What has your experience been with Dell Laptops? I've had three different brands of laptops. Compaq, Gateway, and now a Dell. The touchpad wentup on the Compaq within a year. The Gateway still works fine after ten years except i have to plug a keyboard into it (don't spill water in laptops). The Dell on the otherhand I have had less than two years and The screen has gone up on it already. | |

| | a question about laptops | | i dont know much about my little laptop except that i would be lost without it and cant buy a new one if something goes wrong.i've read all the info and still cant figure out this one thing. it has the battery in it at all times. i think if i unplug it i cant pick up the wireless connection. is that true? since there is a box the cable guy had to put in for me to recieve connection from my sons pc/or the router? whatever. when i use it for hours it seems like its hot near the battery/back of it. should i worry about this? hope someone of my friends are computer savy enough to explain. thanks. | |
