| Printer - Which is your favourite? | | Printers have come a long way since computers came into all our life. I remember the first printer I bought in 1990. It was a dot matrix type that makes a really sickening sound each time you are printing.
Since then, I have moved to injet and finally laser printer now. Not only that, the days of black ink printers are numbered as coloured printer is relatively getting cheaper and cheaper.
It would be interesting to know whether what sort of printer do each of us really like and why. Believe it or not, I still have friends who are so stucked to being loyal users of dot matrix printers still. How about each one of you? What's your choice? | |
| | all about dot matrix printer | | if i were given a dot matrix printer, i will still accept it and use it to print text documents. i can still use it for accounting purposes, too. although the printer is too noisy when printing, i still can tolerate it. the printer's ribbon will also costs cheaper to refill though messy when you replace it. how about you, will you still accept a dot matrix printer, if given free? are there any users here who use this kind of printer? or you have thrown it already? or sell it already? | |

| | Free box of dot matrix printing labels | | I'm a teacher on a Navy base in Italy and am in desperate need of a free box of dot matrix printer address labels, continuous form on fanfold label sheets. Our budget is really tight, and we can't afford to buy these things. I use the labels to record my observations of children, then put the labels in a notebook under each child's name. | Photography - digital or traditional? | | I like traditional photography a lot more in some ways, but not in others. What do you prefer? The photograph which I have included is a picture taken using a Canon AE-1 - made in 1980, using a tripod and professional FujiChrome Velvia Slide film. Please comment if you'd like. My digital camera, although dangerously convenient, just does not measure up to the quality of the images which I am able to capture using a tripod, slide film, and a traditional 35 mm camera. | |
