| | compaq/hp laptops from others | | i bought recently this laptop of mine and start to manage its user friendly features. i'm very happy for it as i used it very well on my studies most especially on researches and paperworks. my trouble starts when my operating system got infected by virus. i need to reinstall it and gosh the hardware components of my laptop needs updating through the internet. definitely it got so much trouble and need others help. right now, my trouble is over. i just need to take precautions to update regularly the anti-virus sorftware so that it will manage its efficiency. may i hear also from you those owners of compaq/hp laptops. | |

| | Which is today's leading affordable laptop? | | I currently own a desktop and was pretty satisfied with it until the thought of owning a laptop struck my mind,thinking of the advantages and portability indeed I have become much more of a good laptop searcher.I have browsed through the net,the available near stores and anyone available who know something or the other about them.
The price range would be till 1200$, I guess.I have a lot of doubts regarding the Companies,there's HP, DELL, TOSHIBA, LENOVO,SONY.But when consulted to many dealers some say Hp laptops get screen complaints after a few month's use and the company wouldn't replace it (no servicing for that).For Dell they say complaints regarding the heating,it gets heated too soon,and similar small small but noticeable troubles has made my head head go round[em]blush[/em] I need lots of help regarding this doubt of mine,paying money and later on thinking getting worries is so not happening,thus I would surely need a helping hand in this case,the configuration of the system would also be better in case of any troubles alter on dealing with the correct suited performance.[em]happy[/em]

| | Dell Studio 15 vs Dell XPS 15 vs Dell Studio XPS 16 | | I'm currently thinking of getting a laptop or a desktop. For laptop, I'm actually looking at few companies such as Dell, HP and Acer (cheap). HP laptops are known to be quite expensive. I recently looked at the 15 or 16 inch multimedia laptop but the one we have in my country came with the Blu-ray drive, which really adds up to the price.As for Acer, it's good but I don't have many friends who are using it. Furthermore, they do have quite limited choice for 15 - 16 inch laptops.Thus, I plan to look more into Dell. The new Dell Studio 15 looks pretty interesting with the WLED display. I'm not very sure whether they have fixed the HDMI problem which is faced by the previous Studio 15 users. XPS 15 on the other hand, is pretty cheap right now. The specs for the new Studio 15 is actually better than this old XPS 15. I think there will be a new XPS 15 coming out soon. Dell Studio XPS 16 on the other hand, looks very nice but there are several complaints about the heat and also the poor build quality. What do you think? Have you used any of the 3? Or you have any other recommendations when it comes to laptops with display size of 15 to 16 inch. 17 is way too expensive for... | |
