The burglar took my beloved HP Mini laptop I bought 7 months ago, also my camera and my diamond necklace. All my photos are in the laptop and never came to my mind to make a back up file. | | My HP mini 1000.. so far loving it! | | I got my HP mini 1000 about 2 weeks ago. It has a keyboard that works for me, unlike from other mini laptop their keys are small. It has a 1 gig memory and 80 gig hard drive enough for my "internet quality time" with my husband abroad. my daughter loves it's built in microphone because she doesn't like being tied up with my headset. Works well for me... haven't got any problem yet. (i do wish not to encounter one) | |

| | What's wrong to my laptop? | | hi mylotters, i got new laptop. before i use this laptop, i used acer. now i'm using HP mini 1000 and using windows xp home service pack 3. the problem is why i can't install DKU-5 data cable, i use nokia 6585 as a modem. why it's difficult? is it because of it using windows xp home SP3? because when i install it on my acer, it's so easy. i have searched on google too and tried to install many drivers from it, but still not helping me at all. is there anyone can help me?
Oh one more thing, is there bluetooth on HP Mini 1000? because i can't find it but there's a icon of bluetooth on screen.

| Do you like mini computers or netbooks? | | I bought a HP mini to try it out. I lost my laptop while travelling so I need to find new one. I am still exploring this new product and will return if I won't feel comfortable. The first problem was the keyboard's space bar. I need to press hard so that I can keep on typing. Usually 3 or more words will appear as one. I called costumer service and she said, the computer is just new and need to type more until it will be okay. So we observed for 3 days and with that the performance is getter better each. There are also some programs that I like to run but it is somewhat slow. It is just handy, light and convenient. I did not meet any problems so far. How was your experience? | |
