| | Accidental erased a file needed by my printer, and I can't find the disc! | | Help! I accidentally erased a file that my printer needs in order to communicate with my computer. It was the file that enables me to scan photos. OK..I know that was stupid, but now I need to be able to put that information back in so that I can scan photos again.To make matters worse, I can not find the disc containing the setup information. I looked in the owners manual and there is no telephone number listed for replacements.How can I get this information for my HP officejet 4215v all-in-one printer? | |

| Another Absolutely Free Offer | | A few weeks ago I ordered directly from the HP website a combo pack of HP ink cartridges and photo paper as I needed to print up photos for a photo portfolio I was working on. While I had the regular kind of inks for regular printing, I didn't have the specific ink cartridge for printing photos, so that is why I ordered the combo pack with ink cartridges and paper included.When I got the order I discovered a dumb error, uh, on my part[em]blush[/em]...while I was able to use the HP99 photo ink cartridge and the photo paper, the other ink, the HP95 was incompatible with my printer..instead of the HP93 Tricolor ink which is what my printer uses, like I said it was HP95.So I called HP and explained the deal and if I could exchange the HP95 ink cartridge for the HP93 one...I was told no problem, but instead of an exchange, I was told they would send me the correct HP ink in effect for free and credit my purchase amount instead..like I said I was perfectly willing to send the ink I couldn't use. But the customer service person said nope, didn't have to do that..they would send the replacement/exchange cartridge absolutely free of charge! So just yesterday I did indeed... | |
| | Is my printer retarded? | | My all in one fax/copier/printer from HP Officejet used to work fine, I haven't used it in a few months though. Now, however, it prints nothing when it prints, it might print a few symbols or whatever from the pages i print but doesnt print everything. I checked my color levels and everything, color is fine, black is fine. I even changed the cartridges. I also cleaned the printheads, I don't know what else to do? Anyone else have this problem? | |
| | Hoping someone can help me with this.... | | After a 2-hr brownout, our HP officejet all-in-one (scanner/fax/printer/copier) is not functioning anymore. When the electricity was back, what was displayed in the small monitor is only the word "Error:0xf0af8004". I suggested my husband to re-install the software which he did but still to no avail. I am not sure but I guess it's not already under the warranty. I know we need to seek a professional help for this but I want to try here first if there is someone who can give us an idea as to what could be possibly wrong with it and what we should do to fix it on our own, if there's any chance. I am also wondering if there is anyone here in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas who can recommend someone who can check it. Hope to hear some insights.....I just need this badly to work. | |
