| compaq/hp laptops from others | | i bought recently this laptop of mine and start to manage its user friendly features. i'm very happy for it as i used it very well on my studies most especially on researches and paperworks. my trouble starts when my operating system got infected by virus. i need to reinstall it and gosh the hardware components of my laptop needs updating through the internet. definitely it got so much trouble and need others help. right now, my trouble is over. i just need to take precautions to update regularly the anti-virus sorftware so that it will manage its efficiency. may i hear also from you those owners of compaq/hp laptops. | |
| | Picking the right Laptop saves you problems | | I've used different branded laptops and found out which one is more reliable, which one is not recommended, which one has the pros and cons as well. Here are a few examples:I'm a big fan of Dell Laptops - for one reason is they have better use of battery power - I've tested them using up to 3 to 4 hours max with no interruptions - and that was a default power saver - if I set it to the max use setting I'm looking about over 2 hours of use - that's not counting the use of burning CDs/DVDs or using other external devices. Their built in wireless internet is not that bad and stable from B/G/N connections. The only downfall I don't like about Dell Laptops is there pre-installed software or other bundled third party crap they put on there when you purchase them. It's just better to buy or download your own programs of use. Their technical support is more or less ok, but don't expect brainy techs to give you fast fixes or resolutions when you come across computer issues.
For those that plan to buy or have an Acer branded laptop - there are two downfalls about it - one is there built in Wireless internet and the battery use. For one the wireless internet range is weak and can lose... | |
